Such a sad day....

It is a sad day today (Sunday). My best friend Pam lost her mother today. She passed away about 12:15 PM.  It was a very long 4 days. She was in so much pain. We had the nurses keep her so drugged so she could be as comfortable as possible. She went quietly with us around her. Pam and I spent much of these days packing up Alberta's room. Sorting things to be taken to the women's shelter and to various other family members. We will be back there in the morning to finish up.

I am not sure if I will be on here tomorrow. I will if I get a chance. I just wanted you all to know what was happening. You are the BEST!!!

Love and many hugs to all.....connie d

Oh, hon, I'm so sorry.  How fortunate that you could be there for Pam.  I know what a good and kind friend you are.  I firmly believe there are angels here on earth, and this week, you were Pam's angel.  Hugs and love and prayers!

Sorry for your friend, but sounds like her mom is better off, she was just existing. Hope you can get some rest so you won't be in pain too much ... I know you want to be there for your friend.

Connie,

Now it is time for YOU to relax and take care of yourself. You and Pam are fortunate to have each other for comfort. That was so hard but you held each other up.

Prayers to you & Pam.

Connie,
I'm sorry for Pam that she lost her mother at this time. But, it's good that her mother is no longer suffering , and that you could be there for Pam.

Get some rest.
Love,
Trish

Connie, sending you and Pam hugs. I know you both are holding each other up at this time of sorrow, but when you look at the other side of the coin, her mom is in no more pain and is in heaven having the time of her life.

Dear Lord, please grant Pam and Connie the knowledge that you are at their side this very moment. Let them both lean on YOU. Give Connie even more strength so she can be the "rock for her sister, her best friend". Pam's mom is now at peace in her eternal dwelling place with you so we give thanks and blessings that you are always there for us. We may not know your plans but when we die we know you are at our side guiding us.

Dear Connie, find peace, strength and love with what you do. God has given you many gifts and one of those gifts are being there for Pam and her mother. Take time for you too.

Happy New Year my cyber friend! Debbie

Connie my heart is with you and Pam.  Just know she is no longer suffering.  I realize it doesn't help (it didn't with my Dad either.)  You were such a good friend to be there for Pam.  Now the two of you need to take care of yourselves.
